Kid History

Today at work Laura and Jessica introduced me to Kid History and boy am I so glad they did.  There are six videos so far and each video is based on an actual event from these brothers childhoods.  But the story is told by their children, yet reenacted by the actual brothers.  Oh my Hannah, these are so hilarious.  This is probably my favorite one.  Enjoy!

Today, Daniel asked if he could put last year's Halloween Ironman costume on and play in the backyard.  I thought, ummm...okay.  Haha, I couldn't miss an opportunity to get some photos though!

I honestly could't remember the last time I laughed so hard.  You know that laugh that leaves you breathless, where you lose all control and let loose the loudest, craziest laugh!  That is what my trip to Bear Lake was.  I laughed so much and so hard it was exactly the release I needed.

I went to the U2 360 Tour with Olivia!  It was amazing!  A whole post about it will be up soon!

I went to 'Roll Up Crepes' in Orem.  I got the Turkey Pesto...pretty tasty!

Daniel's final recital was Friday.  It was so fun to see him up on the big stage!  I was such a proud mama! Thanks to Sione, Lo, Inoke and Melanie for coming out to see him!

St. Patrick's Day Parade

I have been meaning to post this for a while now, but haven't.  Don't know why...the pictures and stories are so funny!

Melanie took Daniel last Saturday to the St. Patrick's Day parade at the Gateway.  He had so much fun, I thought I'd let him tell you about it.

"The motorcycles were going around and around.  They were making a lot of noise.  I got so dizzy watching them."

"This was my favorite part, when the firetruck honked it's horn the kid next to me jumped.  I couldn't stop laughing.  There were a lot of people on the firetruck."

"There were these clowns on machine wheels (aka jazzies) riding around us.  It was cool."

"Oh the ladies.  They were dancing to some funny music."

"There were a LOT of dogs in the parade too, there were like a million dogs!  Some of them even had dresses on."

"The white horse was carrying a wagon and it had three leaf clovers painted on it.  Kinda cool."

"The pipers were great.  One guy was playing the drum and he was dancing like crazy.  It was like he was playing Rock Band.  There was a guy sitting next to us who tried to dance like the drummer."

Daniel couldn't stop laughing at this picture long enough to tell me his final thoughts of the parade, but from what I could tell he had a BLAST!!!!

Sundance 2011: ASCAP Music Cafe

I've already told you about the AWESOME Secret Sisters.  Well, they weren't the only ones we got to see! We also got to see Matt Nathanson sing at the ASCAP Music Cafe.  What a hoot!  Seriously this guy is HILARIOUS!!  Anyways, here are some pics compliments of Wire Image!  And a music video if you are asking yourself, "Who is Matt Nathanson?"

The Van Beckons

Today was the second day that I saw Daniel's eyes glaze over with absolute desire!  Last Sunday was the first time.  What is it that he wants so desperately bad?



The Honda Odyssey!  Really?  (I ask myself with sheer confusion!)  Daniel, is literally drooling as he watches the commercial and as it comes to an end, he whispers, "The van beckons, like no other van before."  LOL, what a goof ball!

ELF HUNTING

Well, I'd like to say that we got a jump start on Christmas this year and kept the holiday Spirit going strong, but truth is that finals were a BITCH this semester and Christmas didn't really start till I finished school.  But once it did, we had some real fun! 

It started with a trip to Gardner Village for some ELF hunting and dinner at Archibald's with Melanie!  Gardner Village has a lovely Christmas display of elves and you have to search out all the elves in order to get a treat at the end.  We did our best, but we weren't able to find them all.  Although, we did have an incident with one of the shop ladies.  Note: Daniel can be very timid around strangers.  So we were in one of the shops in the village and Daniel was of course feeling the need to touch EVERYTHING in the store!  Well, he found some wooden clogs in the store.  He picked them up and called for me so that I could see them.  I, of course, told him to put them DOWN!  The shop lady then decides to step in and tells him that the shoes belong to an elf that hurts little kids who touch things they aren't supposed to!  Slightly shocked that this lady had the nerve, I look over to him just in time to see him cock an eyebrow and say to the shop lady, "Oh yeah?  I don't see any elves in here!"  As funny as it was, we held in our laughter till we got outside of the store. 

Good times and a funny start to the holidays!

I've Neglected You

Oh my goodness, I can't remember the last time I took such a long break from blog writing.  There is so much to share!  Finals this semester about did me in, when I had finally gotten through them, the idea of getting on my computer for anything other than Netflix or online shopping, made me hurt.  I had a wonderful holiday though and I'm so glad I got to have some time off.  Posts about the holiday's are on their way.  How about some FAVES though!

• The Cove - A documentary about the brutal slaughter of dolphins in Taiji, Japan.
• Dexter - Anything Dexter basically!  It is my current obsession!
• Bella - This film has been out for a while, but it is so lovely and I am so glad I watched it!  In fact if you have Netflix, you can watch it instantly!
• Chronicles of Narnia - Daniel, Mom, Tre and I went to see The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and we loved it!  It's a great movie to take the kiddies to!

Daniel has lost his fourth tooth Friday night.  Uncle Sione helped pull his tooth out, it was slightly traumatic but it's been all smiles since.

Westridge Carnival

Music: Flo Rida

If you watch So You Think You Can Dance, then you know that this song played everytime they talked about National Dance Day.  Here we are like a month later and I'm still in love with this song!  Everytime it comes on the radio, we turn it up and do a little dance!

Also, if you watch the music video you'll get a few glimpses (1:30 & 2:42) of my future husband!!!  His name is Madd Chadd and I'm in love!  Refer back to the post about the LXD!  Anyways, one of my music FAVES is Flo Rida's "Club Can't Handle Me", enjoy!

Blog Lover

I love reading other people's blogs!  I love to see what fun creations they come up with, what lovely pictures they take and what fun places they visit.  They always seem to make me so happy!  I love it!  Here are some of my favorites from this week.  I hope you enjoy them as well and have a HAPPY WEEKEND!

My cousin's, Amy and Dustin Palmer, recently took their family to Yellowstone via RV.  What a fun trip!!!  That may have to be the next vacation for Daniel and I!  They took this picture while on their trip, isn't it a beautiful picture?

I just love the NieNie Dialogues!  But I especially loved her posts this week.  Read about her visit to the Tree Room and her families back-to-school dinner.  LOVELY!!
