T.G.I.F.

It's been such a great day!  It started this morning with breakfast at Einstein Bagels...yum!

Daniel insisted on a plain bagel toasted with plain cream cheese...boring!  :)  I got the lox on an everything bagel...delish!

Then it was off to work and school.  Today was my first full Friday in a long while...ugh!  It was definitely hard, thank goodness I have such an AWESOME staff to keep me entertained and who are always willing to listen to my zany stories.

What a messy desk!  I know...no big surprise!  At 4:30, Mileah dropped Daniel off at work so that I could take him up to the 4th floor to meet his new cousin!  Inoke Vincent Asisi!  Congrats to Sione and Lo, they are naturals!!!  Welcome to the world Inoke!

We LOVE you guys!  Muah!

Holga's Summer

I've had some fun with the HOLGA this summer.  I've learned some things too!   Like...

... pictures of moving objects probably aren't a good idea.

...have your camera ready to take the next picture otherwise you end up with a double exposure on one frame.

...the light leaks (reddish streaks at top of pic) are a beautiful perk to the picture, but the filters aren't my favorite.

...there is a glare on the lens if not positioned just right!  Do you see it along the top?

...I must be better about keeping a steady hand!

I also learned that the pictures that I took for no real reason other than to just take a picture are some of my favorite pics this summer!

Black & White Holga

Daniel passed out the minute we got home today, so I thought I'd take the moment to post my black & white Holga pics today.  It's the first roll that I have developed and I'm kind of nervous to show them to you.  I got myself the Holga camera back in March.  Photography is nothing but a hobby or creative outlet for me, I would never propose to be any good at it.  Anyways, I liked some of these and I hated some of the others.  I'm interested to know what feedback you might have.

Note:  These were taken up at Deer Creek with Daniel and Megan.

I was surprised at how vivid this one was compared to the others.

This one might be my favorite.

I played with this one a little and added a Night Filter on it.
