St. George
I'm finally taking a moment (11:39 pm) to update my blog and tell you all about St. George. It's become a tradition to take a relaxing break once tax season has come to an end. Last year we waited a couple of weekends, this year we left on the 16th of April! Oh yeah! Fia, Scott, Tre, Daniel, my mom and I all headed to sunny St. George with the soul purpose of finding a little R & R. It was such a wonderful trip, I'm so glad we did it. First off, we stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites in St. George. It's a beautiful hotel and I finally got to take advantage of that travel discount! We spent a lot of time at the pool, got a beautiful tan, had some good food and came home refreshed! WOOWOO! Here are some pics from the trip.

The drive down to St. George was a little scary, there were quite a few times that we hit snow in the canyons. But we stopped in Beaver and were all too excited to take a picture on this big rocking chair. I was going to jump in it with Daniel, but there was a group of hot guys pumping gas right across from us, so I had to play it cool! LOL!

I made Grandma and Daniel pose for a picture while we were waiting for our food at The Claim Jumper. However, the first picture I took (candelight exposure) sucked, so I made them pose again. You can tell that Daniel was only smiling because I made him.

At home, bedtime is like clock work. He is never up later than 9:00. Oh not in St. George! The kid was up till ten or eleven every night we were there. But once he was asleep, he didn't move an inch. He held this particular pose all night long. LOL!

We decided to go climb some red rocks while we were there. It wasn't till we got there that we realized flip flops was probably not the best idea.

I love this picture of Daniel!

I made Mom do a "silly" pose and this is what she gave me. LOVE IT!!

St. George throws a Kite Festival every year. It was a lot of fun to be there. Unfortunately, the kites were less impressive due to the lack of wind. But we had a great time on the blow up slides.

About five minutes after I took this adorable picture of Daniel it dawned on me that I had locked my keys in my car! ARGH!! Thank goodness Scott is GREAT at breaking into cars. He pulled a MacGyver move with his wallet, hat and wire to save the day. YAY Scott!
It was a FABULOUS trip and I can't wait to do it again!

Things I'm Digging . . .
I had to post a quick bit about the things I'm totally digging lately!
#1 - I'm a Twilight nut and although I have finally gotten tired of watching the Twilight movie, I am NOT tired of reading all the updates for New Moon!!! Yahoo, November 20th!!!!!!

#2 - I won't be able to have these for a long while, due to a very important diet I am starting. But BK Breakfast Shots have taken my top spot for fave breakfast items. I'm telling you that I LOVE these things! It would make me very happy to know that someone out there is eating them and enjoying them for me.

#3 - If you love LOST, then you have got to check out Jorge Garcia's (aka Hurley) blog; Dispatches from the Island! He is hilarious, my favorite post is about the splatter pancakes! His girlfriends page is just as funny; From the Hallelujah to the Hoot.

#4 - I can't believe I'm saying this, but I have become a Street Thug on Mafia Wars. Oh yes, I am officially beating down pimps, robbing warehouses and buying up abandoned lots all in the hopes of moving up the Mafia chain. I wonder if the top level is becoming the Godfather. How cool would that be? If you are on facebook, let me know and I'll invite you to join my Mafia!

#5 - I have decided that I want to sing like Adele! Her CD 19 is genius and I LOVE her voice. You must get ahold of her music and take it all in! You won't be sorry!

Lovely Sunday
Although it was a busy weekend, it was most certainly a lovely one. I didn't get much pictures of Daniel and I, but we did take a moment and get some amazing pictures of Justin and Lua up at the Castle Park. At least I think they were amazing, I tend to be biased of the pictures I take.
Daniel and I also got to have dinner at Olivia and Claudio's home, which was delicious! Olivia makes a mean lasagne! I also got to hear about their crazy stories in Hawaii, which still amaze me! Not only did they see the LOST set, but they got to see Sayid, Nadia, Jacob (Yes, they know what he looks like!) and Locke! Man oh man! What lucky ducks! Check out their blog for the pictures, without them I would have thought is was an April Fools Joke.
I also got to catch up on my new favorite show Kings! Oh it's fabulous and thanks to my lovely mother, I know see the resemblence to the the Bible stories of David. I'm totally out of it these days, I didn't even get it. LOL! If you watch it, you will not only notice is but wonder how I missed it. It's on NBC every Sunday night, be sure to check it out and tell me what you think.
Well, I hope you all had a lovely Sunday as well. Now I'm just going to cross my fingers in the hopes it will help this week go by quickly so I can get to another Sunday!
