Fun Weekend: Part 2 of 2

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUA!!!!!

Saturday was Lulabee's birthday and boy did we have fun celebrating it with her! Her sweet boyfriend, Justin, let us kidnap her for the night! Fia and I picked her up around 4:30 and told her that we were going to take her shopping at Tai Pan! She thought that was cool and we let her think that was her main gift from us. Hehe, we're sneaky!!

Once we got to the check out counter, we surprised her with dinner plans at the Texas Roadhouse. Unfortunately the wait was too long and little did Lua know, but we had another surprise waiting for her. So we picked up Allison and headed to Carl's Jr for something quick to eat. By this time Lua knew that something else was up, but we didn't say a word. We just got back on the freeway. Once we exited off the freeway near the E Center, Lua guessed we were going to a concert. Then a guy selling t-shirts for New Kids on the Block walked by the car and she got the surprise!! LOL!! It was a fabulous concert!

It started out with Lady Gaga, whom I love!

Then Natasha Bedingfield performed, whom I love even more!

Then it was Jonathon, Jordan, Joey, Danny and my favorite Donnie!!! What a fun concert, they sang the old school with some of their new stuff and the crowd didn't stop screaming for a minute! 15 years later and they still got the RIGHT STUFF, BABY!!

Once the concert was over and we were coming down from our nastalgic high, we went to TGI Friday's for a birthday treat! Happy B-Day sis!

*Thanks for the pics Nosilla!

Fun Weekend: Part 1 of 2

What a fun weekend!! I really had so much fun and couldn't wait to blog about it! Lame, I know! But I've become a blogging junkie!! Anyways, here's what I did this weekend:

Friday night the company that Tevita works for hosted a night at Harry O's in Park City. He works for the Scion division at Brent Brown Toyota and they went all out to make it a GREAT night. Tevita and Makenzie had to be there before it opened, so while we were waiting for the show to get started, we headed next door to the No Name Saloon. What a fun, cozy bar. I wish I would've gotten a picture of it.

Anyways, we had a great time talking, laughing, dancing and people watching (great people watching)!! It was a fun night and I'm thrilled that I got to go!

Makenzie told me to get a picture of this dude, he kept staring into the booth area. He must of liked what he saw! LOL! CREEPY!

This guy some how got into the booth and was doing this light show for us. It was techno night at Harry O's, which sucked. I HATE TECHNO, but this guy with his glow sticks was kind of cool. Kind of.

While we were out on the dance floor, trying to make the most of the lame techno music, a group of white people dressed up as indians showed up. What more do you say? Fun times!

Didn't I say there was some fun people watching! Stay tuned for Saturday nights blog!

I like to MOVE IT, MOVE IT!!

Daniel and I had the pleasure of seeing Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa on the big screen last Friday. We picked Melanie up for some lunch and then headed to the new Cinemark location in Orem. It's a beautiful theatre, comfy seats and it's so CLEAN!!! The only confusing thing was the way they have the concessions set up, it was very odd!
If you haven't seen the first Madagascar, you should make the time. Ben Stiller, Jada Pinkett Smith, Chris Rock and David Schwimmer are hilarious in their own right. But animate them, turn them into escaped zoo animals and give them each a complex adult neuroses and you've got pure entertainment for both adults and children!!

I "heart" Melman!!

Change Has Come!

I was so thrilled to see Obama win the race last night. I was impressed by his speech and the number by which he won. I couldn't think of a better man to be President at this time. In McCain's speech, he spoke about how Obama inspired the American people to believe in this great nation once again. People who have never visited the polls did this time to show their support. I appreciated this comment and couldn't agree more. Obama's speech last night was awe inspiring and moving. I have goosebumps now as I write this. Congrats to the Obama and Biden families, I look forward to the next four years!

Halloween Fun!

Every year, Fia and Scott throw a huge Halloween Extravaganza for their friends and family.

This year I almost didn't go, I'm so glad I did because we had a blast. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard that my head hurt all the next day! They sent us out into town with a task list that ranged from making a music video to scaring people in the grocery parking lot. Fia and Scott always do such a great job putting the party together. THANKS GUYS!!

Halloween night, I took Daniel trick-or-treating! He had so much fun and was intent on filling his candy basket to the top before we could go home. But then a sudden urge to use the restroom trumped his goal and we headed home for the night. It was great fun! We have to thank Vita & Makenzie, Fia & Scott, Olivia & Claudio, Xana & Wilson and Grandma for helping us fill the candy basket!

Finished Product

So I just had to post a picture of Daniel's football!
