I am totally digging John Legend's song Green Light! The video isn't really my favorite, but the song is great! Andre 3000 put the beat together and it definitely has that Outkast feel to it. Enjoy!

2008 Beijing Summer Olympics

What an amazing summer olympics! Beijing went big and I was glued to the tv for a majority of it! I experienced almost every emotion possible during the olympics this year! The opening and closing ceremonies were magical! Especially the part in the closing ceremony, when the camera panned over the singers and one of them happened to be JACKIE CHAN!!!! LOL! No, it really was awe inspiring. Some of my favorite parts were these:


When the Men's 4x100 relay team took gold over the "frenchies". PRIDE / HONOR and EXCITEMENT!!


When the US Men's Volleyball Team took gold over Brasil!! JOY and GRIEF over the tragis loss of the coaches in-laws.


Watching Usain Bolt break TWO World records!! DISBELIEF / ASTONISHED / THRILLED


Dara Torres, in general!! INSPIRED / AMAZED
In one of her races, she noticed that a competitors swimsuit ripped. Rather than taking advantage of the situation she helped the girl, by letting the judges know and allowing her time to change her suit! SPORTSMANSHIP


Who knew that water polo was such an agressive and exhausting sport. These guys tread water in a deep pool, I always thought they could stand in the pool. RESPECT / EXHAUSTION

OH and I met my future hubby! I thought it was gold medalist Michael Phelps, until I watched the men's volleyball team. HELLO, number 13, Clay STANLEY!!! CALL ME!

All in all, we brought home 36 gold medals, 38 silver and 36 bronze medals! WAY TO GO US OLYMPIANS!!!!

Sawyer's Commercial

I was mid sentence when this commercial came on! It stunned me to silence! Super HOT Josh Holloway, aka SAWYER from LOST is the new face of Davidoff Cologne!! Enjoy, as I did!

Jack Johnson

Can I just tell you that the man sings like buttar!! LOL! I think that is a line from a movie. But in all seriousness, I heart Jack Johnson's music! Monday night I went with Claudio, Olivia, William and Tiago


to the Jack Johnson concert @ the Usana Amphitheatre. There were so many people there, you could tell they over sold the concert. I mean, there were oooodles of people, we could barely find a spot and there were hundreds of people who came in after us. Well here, look!



Oh but when Jack started singing, I forgot about the HORDS of people and focused in on the fabulous show! Jack sang my two favorite songs; Bubble Toes and Banana Pancakes! The backdrop for the concert was pretty cool too, here is a pic of that.



There were six large LED screens that had some of the coolest imagery displayed on them. VERY JACK!!
The thing about Jack's music is that you can't help but wish you were on a beach, with a margarita, watching a sky full of stars. The night of the concert though, there was the most amazing moon that totally fit the mood! It was PERFECT!!


On the way home the guys sang like crazy! I almost peed my pants!


What a FUN night!!!

August 16th!

Saturday August 16th, was full of fun things! I had such a good day! I started the day out by celebrating Melanie's birthday. I woke her up at 9:00 am to take her to breakfast at Village Inn! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELANIE! I didn't get a picture, which is probably a good thing because I was a mess that morning.
That afternoon, I went to a baby shower for Makenzie. She has such a cute family, it's always so much fun to see them all and they KNOW how to through a good party!



After the shower, I went home and took things easy; painted my nails, deep conditioned my hair, checked the pores and listened to the Pussycat Dolls. All in preparation for Harry O's! As you can see by the pictures, we had a GREAT time!!

ALSO!! Naki started in his scrimage yesterday, way to go bubs!! I LOVE YOU!

Nature Walk

What a beautiful Sunday morning! Daniel and I got up this morning and drove to Provo Canyon for a Nature Walk. I wanted to take him on the Bridal Veil Falls Trail, but it was closed because of the fire. So we ended up taking the trail around Nunn's Park instead.

We found so many fun things along the trail; I found a seashell, Daniel found an area covered in butterflies

and we explored all the little trails that led along the river. We even found this old wood bridge the crossed the water.

When we got home, we decided to make artwork out of the things we found on our nature walk!


All in all, it's been a great morning! Now the little guy is tired and WANTS TO TAKE A NAP! YAY!

Allison, Daniel and I went to see a movie yesterday and one of the movie trailers had a song playing in the background that I haven't been able to get out of my head. So after searching an hour for the song, here it is! Yummy Gavin Rossdale is the singer of the song and the song is called Love Remains the Same!
