My Sleepy Love

When I walked in his room I found him sleeping in his favorite position, arms cooly placed behind his head and legs crossed at his ankles.  I just stared at him, I couldn't stop.  So I took a picture.

I can't believe how much he has grown.  I can remember talking out future plans with my mom:  "His last summer of RKids will be in 2010, then he'll start first grade."  At the time, it seemed like forever away.  Now, I'm looking at one more month before he heads off to first grade.  It's truly unbelievable!

He has grown so much and has been such a sweet blessing in my life.  He still loves his transformers and now has a fascination with paper air planes.  He thinks that Selena Gomez from Wizards of Waverly Place is cute, but girls are still icky!  He loves fruit, any kind.  He gets embarressed to sing or dance in front of anyone, but when he doesn't think anyone is looking he'll bust a move.  He loves Grandpa and loves to play the copy cat game with him.  He says the funniest things, like, "I'm amazed."  His best friend is still David and he thinks it's cool when people think they are brothers.  He wishes that he had a baby sister and usually reminds me of this wish once a day.  He still hates green beans and gags whenever I try to force one down his throat.  But he loves any other veggie, even brussel sprouts!  He has more energy then he knows what to do with.  He loves to swim and learned that he can float on his stomach today.  He is my snoring, sleepy love!

Thanks for sharing Ela. The best time for any Mother is when they can watch their little ones sleep contentedly.

That picture is so precious. I love that he sleeps with his hands behind his head. So relaxed.
