Park City

I just got back from a very relaxing weekend in Park City, UT. I REALLY needed this little break. I have a new found drive to accomplish goals and make things happen! NICE!! I just wanted to talk about some of the things we got to see and do while we were there.
First: My mom and I visited a gallery in old Park City. The artist was Thomas Mangelsen and his photography was truly inspiring. There was an image he captured of a polar bear watching the sunset that made me tear up. The look on the polar bears eyes was so intense as if there was a storm of thoughts moving through his mind.

Second: My favorite Mexican restaraunt is in Park City, Baja Cantina! The yummiest flautas EVER!!! Be sure to check them out!
Third: We stayed at the Westgate Park City Resort and Spa. Can I just tell you that if you don't stay, you still have to walk through the lobby! There are the most ridiculous photos of Mr. Siegel and his wife posing with some of Hollywoods finest! LOL! I couldn't stop laughing. The room was beautiful though and I plan on going back some day! But Mr. Siegel, do you really need to hang a picture of you and Britney Spears in your hotel lobby!

Double Feature Friday

Ok so Allison and I had our double feature Friday last week and I still haven't shared with you what movies we saw! Ok first was Smart People with Dennis Quaid, Sarah Jessica Parker and Ellen Page. Now this movie was good, no it was great! I thought it was intelligent and funny! My favorite in the movie though by far was Thomas Haden Church! Oh there is this killer scene where he is talking in spanish! I practically peed my pants! I highly recommend it!!!!

The second movie we saw was 21. Another good film, my only complaint is that it was completely predictable! Completely predictable! However, it was entertaining and I like that the focus was on what these MIT students did and not so much on the love story between Jim Sturgess and Kate Bosworth. Who both did a great job, although the fake American accent was driving me CRAZY! A good film though, definitely worth seeing in the theatre!

New Little Brother!

So I have a new little brother! It's a very long story! But here is a picture of him!

He is so adorable, we all just love him to death! The kid is spoiled rotten and doesn't even realize it. My brother Vita and I took him to see "Horton Hears a Who", it was great and to be honest with you I couldn't tell you who liked it more. Vita was so into the movie and laughed consistently through it. Where as Daniel was fixated on the popcorn till it was all gone. So he basically missed the first half of the movie. It was good movie though, voices were done by Steve Carell and Jim Carrey. There was a list of other A listers that lent a hand to the Dr. Suess film. Here is a clip from the film:
