Michael

I was sitting in the living room, watching the documentaries that are playing on every channel about Michael Jackson and I couldn't help but think: I am living moments in Daniel's history. I remember hearing the adults in my life talking about what it was like to grow up with The Beatles, Elvis, Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe and what it was like the day they died. Now Daniel will hear about how I grew up with Michael Jackson, how I would watch his music videos over and over again with his uncles and aunts, how we had every song memorized. He will hear about the road trips we went on and the sing-a-longs we had to Michael's music and he is going to read in a history class one day about how he passed away on June 25, 2009. NUTS!! We are living our children's history. What a trip! I feel old, nostalgic and sad. Michael may have had a crazy couple of years, but he is and will always be...a legend. May his soul rest in peace.
